Carol Park is a Clinical Psychologist with 20 years’ experience in Qld Australia. Originally a High School teacher in the UK, she emigrated to Australia in 1992, beginning her formal Psychology Studies shortly afterwards.
Carol has worked with Mental Health (Qld Government), Domestic Violence Shelters, Relationships Australia, and as a family consultant with the Australian Family Court (Family Law). She has always maintained a private practice, both full time and part-time.
Carol’s formal qualifications are: IBP Clinical Psychology; BA(Psychology); BSc(HONS); Grad Certificate Forensic Mental Health; DipHynotherapy.
She is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society and a Member of the College of Clinical Psychologists and a Registered Psychologist with the Psychologists Board of Australia.Carol has also trained as a Hypnotherapist with the Australian Society of Hypnotherapy.
Carol has worked in child and adolescent mental health and families involved with separation, domestic violence and divorce. She is a Provider for WorkCover Qld and Victims of Crime (ACT).
She is trained and experienced in working with mood disorders, anxiety disorders including PTSD, eating disorders, addictive behaviours, substance abuse, suicidality, to name a few of the many mental health problems that occur and will occur in the lifetimes of up to one in five adults in the Western World.
